Introduction...
Without sounding all Martin Luther King, I am a guy who has a dream – The dream used to differ depending what side of the bed I got out of, but after a magical night in Barrow back in 2009, the dream has never been so clear - I want to make my mark as a sports journalist/ broadcaster. Why? Well we shall get to that later on, the back story isn't too important just yet. Over the past years I have dug my heels in and gained valuable experience in the industry, from writing for a local newspaper and working in a radio stations news room, to volunteering at my beloved football clubs assisting the head of media and communications to being head of sport with another radio station, helping to build a strong reputation and develop as a commentator - reaping the rewards with my day commentating at Wembley Stadium! My style is light-hearted, comedic and informative, my approach is backed with belief and a burning desire to succeed. I see myself as driven, hungry to succeed and whilst I’ve a pen in my hand or microphone – happy. I like to be inspired and hopefully be a help to others, spreading the message that life doesn't have to run a random course - if you want something badly enough it will come, especially if you have faith in your ability, believe in yourself, work hard and ALWAYS, follow your dreams until the very end.
